The toddler area cares for and educates children aged 24 mths-36 mths. The childminder and assistant will provide free flow activities as well as structured activities following routines. With this, children will have access to a role-play area. The Role-play area will change guidance from the plan from time to time following your child's interest and needs by the key person (the childminder), who will get to know them extremely well. Children will have the opportunity to explore through fun purposeful play where the children will progress in their learning and development. The childminder and assistant will support your child throughout the day encouraging independence good self-esteem, building strong relationships with their caregiver and friends. 

Activities such as messy play, arts and crafts, mark-making, book/quiet teepee, construction, investigation area and small world. Children will have the opportunity to explore sand & water, music & movement, maths and ICT. We have an area for eating and sleeping for those children who need to rest. Children will BUBBLE together with other children registered at the setting as one BUBBLE. All children will practice social distancing when on outings, trips and if visitors are in the setting. The BUBBLE will remain together including the childminder and assistant. Children will have access to the garden where they can explore and learn outdoors in the log cabin. Rest assured that we will do the utmost best to safeguard your child as this is our duty of care, minimise social distancing where possible and encourage good hygiene throughout the day.
